The Thunderbirds are classified as a public charity under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. For the State of Michigan, We are granted a Charitable Solicitation License. The T-birds are an official charitable organization.
What this means, in a nutshell is:
- The Organization is tax exempt
- Contributions to the Organization is tax deductible.
